I usually do not promote a lot of ways to make money. Lets face it most of the crap you run across on the net is bogus. However if you like to write and know quite a bit about your town, you could make money writing about it. I have placed three small articles on this site and I can watch the money climb in real time. You will not be a millionaire over night, but you could build some serious residual income. The site helps by promoting you and right now 2 of my four articles come up in a general search on Google.

Sounds like an SEO scheme. I'd noticed that writing about your hometown made good money with Google AdSense. I would personally prefer to build a website and post articles and collect the whole amount I earn (without the middle man.) I do okay for myself now. When I work my butt off, I can bring in triple digit days. It's residual income, but as always, I'm on the hunt for more. [tipsyflash]
I am interested in that same thing, but the problem is I am having trouble with the traffic. I have several blogs and two websites but I am a newbie and this is one way to generate a little extra money. This site is good for people who like the Associated Content type site but want to make more money. Mine is currently climbing at about a penny per page view, not adclick. I think AC is like 1.5 per thousand or something like that. As far as the SEO part they do not require that you optimize, its a good idea but not required.
