I am new here and I saw many people here talking about making money online. And I saw just few people really interested in help for sure. Are you guys really try to help people with legit sites or is referrals that you are looking for?

We are all trying to get referrals - however, as we have been doing this for a long time we are also trying to help people not get scammed - I have a few paying sites if you are interested PM me and I will give you a couple of recommendations. [bayness0]
Thank you very much for helping. I will PM you. [valeria1]
Hello! Welcome to the money making discussions :) I can tell you that some people are only here to get referrals. You can normally see them writing short discussions, virtually just promoting instead of actually discussing a site or issue. They also tend to put in their referral links, even though most of the time they know that they are not allowed to. For the most users on here and in the "make extra money" interest, we are just all discussing and helping eachother out. We put in information about when we have been paid, letting eachother know about good or bad features or things that has happened to sites. Of course noone would say no to an extra referral or to do a referral exchange if the opportunity is there, but we do not try to make people join unless it is something we believe in. It would be very bad for our reputation if we would promote a site etc or lie about being paid if we in fact haven't. It is much better to be honest, fair and give information. I also find that most of the time being honest and helpful give me active referrals, it is otherwise very easy just to sign up and then never be seen clicking again. If you keep an eye on this and the "make extra money" section, you will soon see who are more frequent users, and the different quality of the discussions. I have a few people on here that I trust and consider my friends. Again, most people that are there just want to exchange experiences and help eachother out not to make the same mistakes as them, or tell them about opportunities! Also most of us has "money making" blogs where we update our "businesses" so you can always have a look at the profile and go to our blogs to have a look, if you want to find out more about any of us! Take care, and let me know if you have any further questions! If you are interested take a look at my blog, and see how I do to make money :) [Emiese]
You are very welcome! [valeria1]
I would assume the latter, rather than the former. When you're dealing with a place like this, be cognizant that there is usually something in it for the poster, and that they won't engage in conversations that will bring this fact to light. I'm not saying it's necessarily a bad thing. But my personal opinion is that airing your intentions to make money is perfectly fine; but you also have to spell out how it will help others make money (perhaps a collaboration of sorts where there is a 'chain' of referrers, though it would take considerable co-operation.) Anyways, just be mindful they're out for referrals. [Lukeios]
Thank you very much for your answer! [valeria1]
The people that have bee here a long time are here to help people and give them advice while at the same time building their own downlines. I dont recommend sites to people if they are scams what would be the point in wasting my time and their time, much better to recommend sites that really do pay. I am realtively new to online earning but have received some payment from a few sites and these are the sites I recommend to others. I also recommend sites that have paid my trusted friends, which I have built up from my time here. I dont always believe payment proofs either, soemtimes seeing the proof for your self when you get paid is much better. Check out my blog for sites, but the ones I highly recommend are 10bux, isabelmarco, thinkbux,b-u-x net and neobux. These are all PTC sites which pay you to click on ads. [LauraT2008]
Thank you Laura for your help! [valeria1]
Hi valeria1. After several years of doing get paid sites, I know how frustrating it can be to work toward payouts only to run into problem after problem. I joined MyLot because I could see that others were actually sharing their experiences, good or bad, and it's really helped me concentrate on the sites that are working for me and avoid the ones with problems. In the year since joining MyLot, I've been able to help others in the same way with tips, observations and updates on the sites I participate in, but I do this without expecting signups. The information is freely given for anyone to read, whether they're an existing member or not. I work with others to help make extra money in these sites, but I always try to find opportunities that don't cost anything to join and earn. Getting refs in these sites really does help, so when I find good ones, I pass that along, along with payout proofs whenever possible. Whether a MyLot member joins me or not, I like being able to point out sites that DO pay so others can benefit if they're interested. Luckily, MyLotters like to share their successes and I have been able to find several good sites for my collection after hearing they've been paid already. I also try to find new sites to help build on my succeses and in those cases, I prefer having the help of experienced members. Sometimes, with their help, we can quickly determine if a site will be legit or not before passing it along as an option to our less experienced friends. [paidreader]
Thank you paidreader (by the way great name). I am glad that I see people here really trying to help others that makes me happy and more confident. Seems I joined a great group. Nice to meet you also. [valeria1]
Looking at your discussion's title, you, my dear just asked to be a referral for every free sign-up site in the world by anyone that has one here on MyLot. Do yourself a favor and research the sites on line before you join and stay in communication with the people who's site you do join. You'll find that if there is any "scam" site involved and the referrer knows it, it'll be hard for them to hide. For the most part, the people here are good-natured and will be more than willing to be a referral for you if you should join a site that need you referrals for. Also, Please don't assume that because someone screams "scam" in a discussion title, it really is the truth. Take time to read the respondent's point of view first especially for PTC sites. You'll find it can differ greatly based on who was actually paid or not. Good luck for your online earning adventures. :D)mrghill [mrghill]
You're going to find both kinds of people on mylot. I've found that the ones that are active in various types of discussions are the most reliable as far as recommending legit sites. Most of them don't actively promote their sites, they just have them in their profiles. If anyone has a question about a site, they ask, and people that have had experience with that site respond. As someone else mentioned, beware of the ones, even in the make extra money section, who do nothing but say go to this site, or check out my profile. They are the referral seekers, and they might be legit, and they might help their referrals once they sign up, and then again they might not be. Stick around a while and see who's being friendly to other people then check out their profile. Chances are they have a site up that they're making money from, but they're not trying to snag every newbie that floats by. happy Happy mylotting. [thebeaddoodler]
Thank you for your advice I will make sure of that! [valeria1]
Well you bring up a really good question, some people may do that just to get referrals for their site but their are people here that are legitimately trying to help out. Whenever i ask someone to join a site its because i really do believe that it is a good site other wise i too would not be a member,. Sometimes if i am not to sure about a site and am new to the site i will also let people know when asking to join but i too would like to know of some good money making sites online other than ptc sites. [ChrisH09]
Well, anytime I send a suggestion, or idea to someone who is a Member here, I make sure it is from something that has paid me, as I am the leary one as well. I know how easily it can be to be SCAMMED online, or join a site that never pays, or quits paying you before it really gets going as well. So all I can say, is when trying to find other things online to do that also pay, being selective is one thing that never hurts as well. [KrauseHome]
Good for you! Thank you for helping! [valeria1]
I am a bit doubtful with the ptc sites and the people who are posting about them constantly. I might try them one day, or i might not, i dont know. All i know is some of the people who post these seem to be looking only for the referrals.Dont get me wrong here, but if you dont offer much info in the topic, and you post your referral link too, then it seems obvious what your purpose is rolleyes [makatas]
I totally agree with you! [valeria1]
Generally you can spot the people just trying to get others to join by the amount of posts they have. the people with fewer posts just seem to come here and basically say THIS IS THE BEST SITE EVR YOU WILL MMAKE THOUSANDS. Those are the ones that obviously are just trying to get referrals. if the person isn't willing to explain to you what you need to do or take the time to respond to you then why bother. [mscott]
Totally true! Thank you. [valeria1]
I personally try to help people with both my discussions and responses here. Sure, when I post a discussion it may be a program where I stand to make money, but then again, it may not. I post what I know has helped me, and will help others if used in the right context. When it comes to responses, the only thing I am trying to do is help. If the person asks for a money making program, I tell them about mine. If they are trying to get referrals, I tell them about programs that will help them do that. For me, its all about answering the question rather than giving an answer that will help me. There are people who come to this interest solely to get referrals, and you can usually tell who they are because all their discussions and responses are really ads in not-so-good disguise. They never seem to last long though, most of their discussions get deleted, and the ones that aren't don't bring many active referrals. They self-extinguish because this isn't the place for advertising, its the place to bring your opinions, questions, and answers. [drknlvly6781]
blush Thanks redkathy for the vote of confidence. But by the time I responded to this discussion BR was already given. I don't do this for best responses, as you said I just give honest answers to discussions as I see fit. By the way, that is the best way to get active and responsive referrals for anything that you do. Adverstising is good for getting people to see your opportunity and possibly sign up, but to get someone that is truly interested in your opportunity, its better to let people know who you are, rather than posting your opportunity all around. Like a few of the respondents said, they sign up with people that they trust. In order for someone to trust you, especially online where you don't meet face to face, people have to get to know you. Posting honest answers to questions is one way to do that, and once that happens people want to know what you are doing. They are truly interested in what you do because they know what type of person you are, and know that you won't steer them in the wrong direction. [drknlvly6781]
Hey there! While I am looking to get referrals, the site I'm trying to get referrals for is totally legit. I make $30 to $40 a month without any referrals, and $20 a month is easily reachable with very little effort. I've written a review of it here: http://www.freewebs.com/yourturn2earn/cashcratereview.htm So, while I am trying to get referrals, its still a real site that you can earn on without referrals. [tcnjpirate]
Valeria you have gotten some good advice from most of the post before mine, but in all truth there are alot of the older members that are here to help in anyway they can. And anything that you go into is going to take a lot of wprk and also what is called due diligence on the opportunities that you want to join. You will make a little from mylot and if you find someone who can point you in the right way you can make some of the Pay To programs. But you will learn more as you mature in this business. Anything that guarantees you instant wealth just forget it because to make money on the internet there is no get rich moment but you can obtsin some income from severaldifferent businesses. [Residual]
Thank you Residual I appreciate! [valeria1]
A combination of both I think. Some do genuinely seem to want to share their success stories with others, while others just want to take advantage of newbies. You can judge for yourself by looking at the link. If it's a link to the site, then it's legit; but if it's a link with a referral number or code attached, the person's just being greedy. Hope you don't get suckered in, valerial. Good luck with making money online. It's slow but very possible. [mimico]
Thank you for your answer. I will be ok do not worry! Great help! [valeria1]
What are friends for? We help each other. We are in a win win situation. I do have many ptcs which really need referrals but how many people are willing to be a referral. I don't mind joining under anyone here if it is a paying site and which I have not signed up yet. [zandi458]
I totally agree with you. Thank you! [valeria1]
Depends my mood..w00t, lol. Just kidding! I'm very big on the helping part, but I will admit that in some cases I am in fact looking for a referral too. surrender I only try to post up the sites that i've been paid with though, or sites that i'm confident will pay or i've seen others payment proofs with and yeah. I also only ever send people links if they ask for them. I will never, not even once post them in anything I post up on Mylot! If they're interested in a link i'll give them it in a PM. If not, I won't pester them about it. If you're one of those who needs help feel free to send a message my way. I like lending out a hand in any way I can! lol [LouieWpHs04]
You are one of the funny ones. Thank you for your comment. [valeria1]
if anyone needs help i will just help him i9 dont care if he becomes my referral or no i am here to help the needy and not to induce ppl into bad sites for making money for myself if anyone needs help in making money just ask me for [pratiksanghvi]
i think this is more helpful http://www.subhehogayimamu.com/?um=151 [meraj789]
Obviously everyone wants referrals but I like to help, I have been paid by websites and if people want to be paid then they can join i post proof on my site so the people know it is legit i only join sites with proof it is their choice to join either way, i have a school loan i am paying i can't get my diploma until it's paid for so all the money i am making is going towards my "debt" and i'm full of debt, sadly! [fit4lifein07]
Oh I hope you make great money! [valeria1]
no i do not think they are help cuz if they wanna to help they will make them self your referrals for sometimes but they only try to make referrals but if you found someone to make offer with you (trusted one) i think you must be his referral [TAYSON0076]
LOL. Thank you! [valeria1]
happyI think it's pretty kool, to me it's easier to work with.Everything is on the top starting with todays's top to unresloved discussion. I like it Even though it wasn't a huge change on what I was thinking. but, Hey thats my opinion so it's what ever. One think I dislike about new mylot is the 3-4 line is the same as 4-5 lines without the upgrade so i guess i'm going to have to type and write way more now which sucks blah I soon Will^_^ Take carehappy know getting referrals can be a pain in the neck.. haha.. trust me I know. haha I try so many times. One way yo u can get referrals is making videos on youtube. That helps it hleps me sometimes haha.. Thats just my ideal of getting referrals. IF not you can do it the easy hard way haha.. easy because you can exchage with someone but the hard part is keeping up with your PTC sites and the exchangers ptc site as well. Just make blogs and stuff sometimes family and friends might not help as much as you think they would haha. I ask a family member to join mylot and they did and they did crap haha. [Maximo121091]
i like to referral but have to do this? yes i have people question like to earn money in legit company i will help them? all people help each other and here in my lot? just keep posting and good luck to you just posting and posting and start new discussion to earn more money? see yah..lol [ken18neth]
Thank you for your help! [valeria1]
we are trying to help and earn money at the same time.I dont think it is wrong to grow along with others [pkraj111]
In most of the sites that I have been too, I would have to say that it is about 50/50. Most of the people though that are just looking for referrals have only been trying to do this for a short time. But you will find those that run their businesses and downlines on a one on one deal. Build the rapport with people, get them to know you so that they will be more inclined to refer you to others. That is the way it should go. [Hakemp001]
I agree with you that is the way it should go! [valeria1]
hi valeria1 i saw your discussion and find it a good one. People are here to earn money and to help others too. If someone is giving you a link of some site and he just want you to be a referral of him, then there is nothing wrong in it. even it increases the chances of legacy, because if someone is referring you it means that there must be some profit of that person, this shows that site is legit. i find mylot is the very good place where we can interact with each other so easily. Best of luck and keep mylotting. [Valiantdude]
Thank you for the good one! I will observe and follow your advice. [valeria1]
I want to believe that most people here are wanting to help people but I understand the need for to get refferralls. I also know that I spent many years trying all kinds of different sites to make money and I wish I had the expertise of people like those on my lot. I think it would have saved me alot of spam and money down the drain. So now I try to help as well as work on getting a few referrals. Let me know if I can be of assistance. I have at least two sites that I like one which I get as a referral and one I don't. ' Feel free to pm me if you like and I will share. [onlinetomakemoney]
Thank you very much for your offer, I will, we need to help each other, thank you again! [valeria1]
