i read a small book this morning about learning steps in obtaining wealth. it shows interesting topics and even gave inspiring stories from those who started from nothing and became billionaires! i always wanted to become rich (who doesnt want to?) but kinda confused until now on what could be that thing that will make me become one. How bout you guys? can you tell exactly what you must do in order for you to achieve great wealth? what could be it or how will you do it?

hey becoming reach is the dream of each and every one. every one want to earn a lot of money. but that quality is within you and you can improve it a lot. i am engineering student and going to do job in a firm. but this is only the way to live and not to become millionaire. after doing job for 1 year i will go for MBA course. it will pay me at least 12lakh per annum. even then it is not going to make me millionaire. if you want to become millionaire then you will have to do work for that not only dream for that. you can dream but you each and every work of the whole day should lead you to be millionaire. that is the only way to be an millionaire. happy mylotting [shambhukumar]

I don't know if I will become a billionaire but it sure would be fun trying. For me, it would be a combination of creativity as in art, i.e. painting, drawing, sculpture ect. I have an associates degree in art. Also I'm into photography and writing. There are so many different ways to make use of the above that it would keep me busy for many life times. I think a person needs to explore their creative side to find ways to turn it into making money. At least that's my plan. [CatGods]

Hi drakesuayt, You can do anything you put your mind too, right now my best friend and I own two of our own graphics websites. We make myspace layouts, icons and comment graphics among other things. It's a great website to have since a lot of people use the Internet and use things of that sort every single day. We can't afford to pay for advertising so we only are using Google Ad Sense right now and we haven't made a lot of money. If we could afford to pay for advertising through Google it would help us show up better in searches and therefore we'd receive more traffic which would result in more clicks on the Google Ad Sense ads. It's one of the best ways to make money, it's taking us a while though because we're the only two maintaining the sites, making everything and doing the coding ourselves to help save money. You can read all the books you want but it's not going to make anything happen for you, you have to do that yourself. The Internet is a great way to make money whether its a blog, or a website. You have to be very patient though because nothing happens overnight. I'd love to be rich too, I've always dreamed of being financially stable and not having to worry about anything, but hey your right, who doesn't want to be rich. I've seen stories of people becoming rich without college degrees so it can happen from an every day person who doesn't have a high level of education, but you'll never know until you try. I am not a millionaire but I am planning to be one. lol. My plan is kick my investments up a notch. I am currently investing on stocks and mutual funds and I also have an online business. If my investments are stable enough for me to make a living on them, I will quit my job and be a full time entrepreneur because it is very unlikely that I will become a millionaire while I am an employee (unless I win the lottery of course. lol.) The richest people in the world are wither businessmen or investors so it is pretty obvious that this path is the clearly marked path on becoming a millionaire. [lealuvy2j]

Well, I'm definitely going to be reading the responses! I have read many books myself about how to obtain wealth. But I'm still not rich so I think I missed something or maybe I'm not motivated enough. Really I think that's it in a nut shell. Are you truly motivated to have a lot of money? I think deep inside most of don't really want to do the tremendous amount of work that it would require to be rich. We probably recognize that the things that are really valuable are not for sale. Being rich is just a fantasy or dream that we like to continue dangling in our minds like the "carrot" in front of the donkey. Having said that I still like having money. I think the ones getting rich are the ones selling the books to teach people how to be rich.. I have been sucker enough to buy such self-help books to become rich.. it's a racket and the only gone getting rich is the one selling "snake oil"...lol [OreoCookie3]

I am not yet rich but I'm on my way to becoming rich. My advice for you if you want to become rich is, follow the steps of the rich. I suggest you take also the advice of "Rich Dad" by reading Robert Kiyosaki's book "Rich Dad, Poor Dad" (What the rich teach their kids about money that the poor and middle class do not!). Rich monetary wise; to me can be obtained by having a successful business. It is pretty much so, if not, there's no chance of being rich. Unless one has a very high paying job and saves money aplenty to be able to buy things that can be said that he or she is rich. Like having their own apartments, cars, other sorts of properties and stuff like that. But there are also people with not many material things but they are also rich because they learn to save early from young. And some feel they do not need money rich, because they are already rich with love and just being able to live simply is the best for them. [zed_k4]

"Rich" by keeping concentrating on your "Aim" whatever you want to Become and Progress and Innovate in that Field and Show your Class in that particular Field. focus is the only key friend. In order to achieve that goal you should now your capabilities first, what are you doing right now, and find good method to achieve the target. You should motivate your self and try to focus and patience in your job now. hi I also dreamt about being rich. but now finally i have found a way to do that. No matter hard work is always the key. But my method is really good if u r a completely dedicated person.I started foreign exchange currency trading after completing my MBA. As compared to equity markets, this market never goes down. No matter what happens, one currency always gains and the other one loses value. So you either a winner or a loser. Its not gambling. Its a very difficult field. But everyone without a finance degree can participate and invest in the forex market.You have to learn alot but at the end of the day you will get paid for your hard work and dedication:) [nskhan1983]

I think there are a few similarities with those billionaires we know. These billionaires have set their goals way before. Other similarities they do have is that they have determination, they work really hard, and they dedicate their lives to their stuff. Sorry, maybe my opinion falls out of your expectation. For a long time I know I won't be a rich man, or I haven't the fate to be wealthy. I just an common person, neither have talent to invent some useful productions nor have brave to rob money, only keep my life away from starving is enough. Except money, there are a lot of meaningful things need to do, to be volunteer to devote the society, to travel to find out beautiful scene to purify your heart, to read historical book to make you wise, or to hang with friends to share joys. I am currently reading a book written by a millionaire called "The Unemployed Millionaire" by Matt Morris. Another good one is written by Alan Corey. The difference between the two guys is that Alan Corey became a millionaire within 6 years from 22-28 years old. They both own their own business and do their own thing. What the rich people do is besides just owning their own business, they are pretty frugal with their money unlike the myth that they spend them like crazy. I used to thought they do that but not amymore. I do like the fact that anyone can be rich but it just boils down to whether you have dedication, forget negativity, and the mind is a work of art when it comes to whether you will make your dreams come true. A lot of lottery winners ended up going back to being poor or more poor than before because their mindset prevented them from staying rich so tehy do really stupid stuff such as wasting all of it away and not invest them in any kind of business whether it is in stock, 401k, real estate, etc. Robert Kiyosaki is another good mentor that I like to learn from and I have some of his books as well. I am considering buying some more investing and business books from my SFI but need to bring my income up more. Wish me luck and I wish the same to you too. And one other thing.
