How much money do you need right now to feel secure, to buy what you need, to pay all bills, and buy a house or a car?

A years worth of living expenses would make me comfortable, especially in this job market. It took a friend 6 months to find a job, and even then it was a terrible pay cut. If i had to estimate, i'd say that would be near the ten thousand dollar mark. Maybe more? You know, i should know that, lol. [SparedTheNight]

Let's see...if I buy the house with a mortgage, I would need less than if I bought it outright... But if I was going to buy it all free and clear, $100,000.00 would be a nice sum. 20K for a car, 60k to buy a house (there are several in my area I could buy for that amount) and 20k to furnish it and pay off existing bills. Well I currently live with my parents, I have a baby due in about a month, and no car. So if I had $2000 to get a car loan, first month's rent on apartment, and a little extra Padding for diapers and such until I go back to work, that would be just perfect. But that's completely unlikely, and I know I won't have the money for an apartment, so I'd be happy with a few hundred dollars. Even fifty would be a huge help. [iheartblogging]

Well, the amount of money that I would need really depends on each expense. :-) It seems that I can not place an exact number on the amount of money I would need; only that I would wish to live in a way that was the most comfortable for me. :-) I guess the best way to explain things is that I wish to own just enough to completely enjoy my life in any given moment. :-) For example, if I had a strong desire to visit South Africa or even Rome, I would want the ability to call a travel agent ASAP, book my flight and be on the next planes flying to my given destination. :-) So, basically, just being able to 'get the best' of life with only a little amount of money would make me content. :-) [LaSenyoraSilis]

I need $50,000 for me to be able to buy a house and new car for my family. My monthly expense can already be covered by the income I am earning from my regular job right now. If I would just rely on the monthly savings I am making right now, it needs a century before I have enough money to buy for a house and a new car. lol. To be able to pay all of the bills and buy groceries and ocasionaly go out and have fun I would prefer to have at leasst 3 thousand a month. This last year has not been that kind. Personaly I could be happy with 4 or 5 grand a month, but it will have to wait till I get to work. [okkidokitokki]

I could use enough to pay off my house and credit cards. That is enough that is for sure. I think with me $75,0000 would pay off my mortgage and credit cards and have money left over. I am on a fixed income, but it doesn't pay all that much, a few small bills and my mortgage, with not much left over, so anything that I can make online would be extra. I hope that one of these days I can find something that will reaslly help me get the money I need, without me investing anything, as I have been scammed before and not going to do that again.
