I don't know, I haven't actually used it, I've heard of it but don't remember exactly what's it for, can you refresh my memory? [Rtlsnk316]
hi mrinalini, thanks for the response,it will appear on our desk top screen, for that they will play some dollars that is also very less than 5 bucks per month or year,i does not know it is waste of time,i have quit the same,i have seen your blog, with some medical tips,i will see once again your profile leisurely, have a nice day [yugasini]

hi yugasini, i dont even know what a Gomezpeer is and what good it does to you when you register there. i want you to laugh, but it seems like its a mexican gang or something. lol thank you for the suggestion. but what is it really? annhappy [tigeraunt]
Yougasini, I guess you not understood about gomez peer. The advertisement you see in your screen ARE NOT FROM GOMEZ. Probably you got some malware that opening these ads. Gomez Peer also DON'T MONITOR YOUR ACTIVITY. (I would like to know WHY people that knows nothing don't keep their mouth closed, instead of says silly things). If you're beable to read the brief in the GOMEZ site, you will discover their program just make several test on the speed of their customers sites. That's all. And the only program you should see in your computer is the gray/black/orange window of the program, that you can easily minimize because it don't requires be in foreground to run. Have a nice day. (btw, I earned more than $100 in a year with gomez but, I've to admit, I've read their instructions!!!!!) [pierone]

I heard about this sites, my friend. But don't know how it works. I like to experience things in that sites. Since you said something irregularities I think I will not register on that sites...have a nice day! [aerous]
Do you mean, my friend. It's like a spam or viruses that will affect the operation of our pc? [aerous]

I don't have that problem at all, it just minimizes. Maybe it depends on the operating system? I run Windows XP myself. I haven't tried it on my Vista machine. [dawnald]
hi dawnald, thanks for the response, the gomezpeer screen is comming, but there is no activity in that screen, first of all i wish to remove it from my screen, now i am using another one it is comming, have a nice day [yugasini]

I had it instaled, but after 2 months of not being activated, I just quit and unistalled it. I think it is just really hard to get activated on there. You might earn, but if you aren't activated, you don't get it. I don't understand why it takes to long to get activated. For those wondering what it is, it is a program you install on your computer and it runs on its own. As long as you keep it running you earn. I just got tired of waiting ot be acitvated, so I just decided it just wasn't worth it anymore. There are other ways to make money, and it doesn't take ages to get activated either. I don't recommend that program to anyone, but that is just my opinion. Goo luck to yooou and happy mylotting. happy [rosekiss]
hi rosekiss, thanks for the response, what you said about gomezpeer is correct,i wish to quit the same from desk top, still it is comming,i have removed the icon from desktop and removed it from my files, but still the screen is comming when ever i have open the computer, how to remove it permanently in my computer, have a nice day [yugasini]

I had installed Gomez Peer a couple of years ago. It's supposed to record your actions online and pay you for surfing the web. In the beginning it was o.k. but it seemed like it slowed my computer so much and I wasn't really earning any money to speak of. After a couple of months, I just uninstalled it. Someone on one of the forums said that it was a scam. I don't know about that and I wonder if anyone has been paid from this site. Does anyone know somebody that has gotten paid from them? They have been online for a long time, so I don't think they would still be going if they weren't on the up and up. [surfette]
Thank you so much and congratulations to you for your payment. You are the first person I've known that has stated a payment proof. I have a newer computer now and am connected to broadband so perhaps it would work for me now. I'm always glad when the rumors are dispelled because we do have to use due diligence when we sign up for sites, especially those that do monitor our actions even if they are just testing sites. [surfette]

I became to be a member of Gomezpeer long time ago. I was active to it for some time. However, I was so disappointed that my account was still pending. I didn't know when my account could be approved. It didn't tell me how long time I should wait. I didn't like it at all. As it seemed my efforts could be in vain at last. Later I quit it. I love China [youless]
hi youless, i have joined gomezpeer with most interest, when it is comming on screen it is occupying 1/6 of the screen,so if it is on the screen, every time we have to change the place of the gomezpeer,so i am am canceling it,there is another site which only oneforth of size of gomezpeer, now i have installed it on my computer, have a nice day [yugasini]

Simply click the 'X' button, and it will minimise itself into the icon tray. Alternatively change your setting using the menu, and it will not even appear on the desktop, or the icon tray. GomezPeer does not pay us for surfing. According to them they act on behalf of other companies wanting to know how fast a computer downloads a particular website. The work unit that a computer gets is a testing task. The main aim is to further improve general Internet services. There are various factors in an account being upgraded to 'active'. They include computer system (hardware), type of Internet connection with preference over dial up, the average length of time a member is online, the number of peers in any particular area, the settings of the Peer program, and the country. My country is way down the list. The first time I ran the Peer program my status was pending even after three months. Then my computer was struck by an overload due to lightning. Six months later I reinstalled the Peer program, actually I had forgotten about it, Three weeks later my account was made active. Was it really worth it? I would say yes. The program works in the background, utilising a little amount of resources. We earn for practically doing nothing. There is a bonus, currently 8 cents, for every cumulative 20 hours per day. In other words one computer will take 20 hours, two computers with the same Peer account will need to be online for 10 hours, four computers will need 5 hours, and so on. I have been paid. [rosdimy]
I had to be away for more than 4 weeks, hence the big delay in responding to your request. After installing GomezPeer, do the following. 1) Click on Options > Preferences. 2) Give your Machine Name a name. 3) Set the correct country. 4) Set the correct Network Connection. If you are using dial up then the figure should be between 14.4 to 56. . Broadband is usually DSL. Improper setup will not help in getting your account activated. [rosdimy]

I heard about Gomezpeer if more and more computers are used to run the faster we get paid too. My brother was installed on each computer and in active status even he has been paid by Gomezpeer, so when we are online the software is run. If you want to invisible gomezpeer use minimize windows or click the "X". [May2k8]
It's still running, but I just make it invisible so not disturb my eye. You can see the picture, if you have it visible then click close windows. It take more than a month to have active status, good luck. [May2k8]

I'm glad to hear your voice again. from your saying I don't think I will join the website in future. After 8 months of focusing online money websites I already have had a few reputable websites to participate so I don't think I will join any new one. Time is limited so I basically focus on write to pay websites. I think it can help me in my life and I can really get some writing skills. Now I have almost six writing websites to run so I'm totally busy. [sblossom]
hi sblossom, thanks for the response,i am spending less time in mylot, because i have to see alliance/marriage to my son ,searching of girls in our community, there are lot of formalities, how much time you are spending daily to run 6 writing websites and how much you are earning per month, have a nice day [yugasini]

Hi friend, So after long time right... You know i had registered with gomez peer, installed them and allowed it to run for a month or so but to no avail they never accepted me and nor did they reply to any queries that i asked. It was really waste. Its nice that you removed it. [suj123]
Well, I am active on that site, and I received several payment from them before too. I guess that site has high volume of users already, and they couldn't handle the payment anymore, so they slowing the registered process, and also the paying process too. I don't earn much from it anymore. [clorissa123]

I simply don't have this type of problem with me on GomezPeer. I can surf the web with it on the background, and it doesn't hinder me anything from it. I can also minimize it, and have it diminish at the lower corner icon. I don't have any problem like you describe though. I am still earning money from it. [clorissa123]
hi clorissa, thanks for the response,it is some what late response, any how that gomez peer is not working on my computer, nothing is happening in that, what is my position in gomez peer, how to know that please let me know all details of gomez peer,i am crazy for the past 20 days about gomezpeer is not working on my computer?have a nice day [yugasini]

hi all i created a lot of accounts in gomez peer and i feel that has not made my account active which i ran for more than 6 months. i mailed to gomez about the details of the accounts i created and asked them to delete them ( as said in the site) . but i find about of 12 accounts i owned none of them became active from pending. is it due to possession of multiple peer accounts? please respond. is there any way i can get an active account by using some other username or something like that? please help me P.S. i wish to say all here that gomez is NOT A SCAM [gsrajahganesh]
hi gsrajahganesh, thanks for the response, till now gomez peer account is not activated in my computer, only gomezpeer is comming, nothing activity is there,if you require i will send another one just like gomezpeer for your use, about the payment i do not know because i am joined in that site a month back, nothing is loosing by us,have a nice day [yugasini]

Well, I don't have this kind of problem myself, but I do agree with you on this, It is waste time to have gomezpeer, but it is not as beneficial as before. Actually, I had noticed the earning from gomezpeer has significantly slowing down. So, I won't recommend it anymore to anyone. [clorissa123]
