Recently, i signed in here in mylot because i'm curios about how much money I will earn. But as time goes by, I realize that aside from the money that you are going to earn, you can also find good people from all over the world. There are sites that people doesn't care for each other. But here in mylot, everybody is helping. So right now mylot is my number 1 site. How about you?what's you're purpose here? how do you find it here?

When I signed up for mylot I thought I was gonna make real money. So I posted and posted and eventually I realized, I have made lots of friends. The little amount of money you get from posting is not that much really. But the experience here and all the new things you learn from reading and discussing is one thing you cannot seem to find in other sites. So, this site is on the top for me. [deltax]
I feel the same way. I thought that it would be easy money. I didn't know any of the rules about quality posting yet. But, now, I prefer to make quality posts because it is the right thing to do, as well as for the earnings increase. :) It might be a little bit of money, but it is still helpful to me. :) But, this site is about SO much more than that. :) [EAStanley]

You are right there you will meet lots of people who will later be your friends. I signed here in MyLot months ago but I didn't even bother posting. I didn't even update my profile. A friend of mine whom I know through a Social Networking site encouraged me to join. So I tried it and I find it fun and at the same time a good way to earn money. [yuna15]

well, I come here in mylot for both.lol I found mylot in one of the writing websites I am engaged in. And when I started to be here, I enjoyed with the discussions and it boost my earnings. All of us knew that we are not getting richer here but, I learn lots of things here and gain lots of friends too. That is the reason why many people keep on coming back here even if they are not earning much but it is fun!!.. think about it!!! who will pay you for making fun like this? posting and discussing? hahaha I think there are still other sites that do this but mylot is more stable than the others. The reason I'm here is because of my friend. He told me that this site was like Facebook but with money. So, I tried it out and found later that money isn't really the important thing about the site - its the people and the site itself. Hi, aisaellis.. ^^v I've read about myLot from another forum way back 2007. At first I have no idea that you can actually earn some money here in myLot. All I knew was that it's a good place to talk about anything. I used to chat on mIRC (are you familiar with that) and read on forums. I don't remember where exactly I saw myLot.. Anyway, that person said that she had posted the same discussion in myLot. She's happy hanging around myLot, and all that beautiful words she'd said. In short, I bought her sales talk. haha! then I saw a post from friendster: do you want to earn money by writing your opinion.. something like that. That was timely, I thought since I really need to earn some money. I was shocked to find out that it's myLot... My story is getting long, don't you think, aisa? So there, in conclusion, I've joined because of the 'incentive' of getting some amount here. But the thing that actually keeps me coming back are the good people with interesting topics. I also come here to share my own experiences, ask for advice (especially being a mom), or sell something. haha! Earning is just an incentive, a bonus.. Will I spend most of time here if I'm only after the money? There are many other sites that can pay more. There's something here in myLot... and that's because of people like you. ^^v [babyfuzz]
I have only been on myLot for maybe about 3 months now. I wonder how much money I would have earned by now if I had discovered it as early as you did! ;) Anyway. That is because there are lots of interesting people who post interesting topics you can respond to. Aside from that, most mylot members are very kind and friendly. They make you feel good inside by helping you with your problems, giving immediate response.Moreover, it helps you learn something from time to time just by reading and interacting.. It is said that - 'anything without purpose is useless exercise'. When I joined here, my purpose here was to interact with members from different countries and cultures, so that I could share my views with them and could learn from their views. Since the time I joined, I added many friends here, who taught me how to write a quality response and what to write and what not to write. There are some very learned and experienced members who not only support you but guide you, as well. I have been a member since may 2008, and i agree, after my first payment, i got discouraged with mylot, as i also was away a lot from it because of different situations and so my second payment came quite late but i soon realized that apart from the money, i am here for a few friends i made as well. I mean it's not big but it's better for me especially I am just at home and just waiting for my visa. I love it because I learn a lot. Hi aisaellis, I too joined mylot for money. Initially there was much problem to understand the same and have no idea to post new etc. Then I went for hibernation for sometime. In between I am getting Mylot digest regularly in my inbox and it gives the inspirations to join back. The second time I am lucky and got many friends (yes they are good) and got payment too.
