Ok folks, this is weird...
I know the economy really blows right now and any money is a good thing. So I have a friend that can't work due to a disibility. She gets on the web searching for legit and good paying work at home jobs. She runs across an ad for "phone actress." Well she had no idea what being a phone actress entailed, so she clicked the link. Well, it was phone sex operator work.
Now the girl does have a potty mouth and a pretty voice, so I'm guessing she would excell at the job, but do you think it's ethical? Neither one of us are religious people, so we both think it's a cool idea. What about you.
The pay should come out to at least $150 a week, plus her disibility check, that would make a huge difference in her finances.

I've been looking at some ads for the jobs, and while a lot do only hire females, there are some that hire men. I don't know exactly how good an actor you are, but if you could talk to men you could get a job. There isn't much of a market for women calling men. Visit www.sexyjobs.com for jobs. I think it is good for her to do this job since she has a good voice and can chat as well. But for me i think it would be difficult as it is very hard to talk about things that you dont feel. I could not do that because of my beliefs. I think that this world has taken a beautiful, natural expression of love and dragged it through the gutter and made it into a base, filthy thing in the minds of many people. These phone sex places make it worse. It's kind of hard to explain how I feel, there's a lot more to it--society has made it a business instead of a lovely thing between two people in love. But I would not condemn your friend for doing that work if it didn't bother her. If she's at all sensitive, though, she may be in for a shock at how nasty those men are. I admire her for wanting to work, though. Disability pay doesn't cover much. Is she on disability? Better check to see if her working on the phone violates the rules, I'd hate for her to lose her compensation. [dragon54u]
I donīt think I could do it, but not for ethical reasons. I donīt have the right kind of voice and Iīm old. But if your friend can do it and get money by all means let her do it!!! There are not many jobs for people with dissabilities and and there are always more expenses with a dissability. Take care [atacamaval]

I don't think I have the guts to do that. $150 is a lot of money but how sure is she that they will really pay. I'm not playing modest but I just can't do that. It's totally not me. But I have nothing against those who do that or are considering that job. Like I said, it's just not me. [aprilten]
That is one thing we could verify for sure. We found a forum just for girls in that line of work and every company in the business had ratings, pros and cons, and how they paid. It was very helpful.
